Raccortubi Norsk Inaugurates New Warehouse in Aberdeen

Raccortubi Norsk, Raccortubi Group’s most recent acquisition, has moved into new premises on Blackburn Business Park. The stockholder and distributor of piping materials in stainless steel and special alloys now benefits from a warehouse consisting of a larger square footage to hold a stock of pipes, tubes, fittings and flanges.

Formerly known as Norsk Alloys, Raccortubi Norsk was acquired by Raccortubi Group in 2015 to extend its distribution network to the United Kingdom. With Group support in the form of a global distribution network, supplementary ex-stock material from the 10,000 m² warehouse in Italy, reliable provision of products for frame agreements, and butt weld fittings to short lead times from integrated production facilities, Raccortubi Norsk is fulfilling customer orders for Oil & Gas and offshore platforms quickly and cost-effectively.

In addition, it is placing a great deal of emphasis on the quality and personalisation of the final product. Fully-tested and certified items in accordance with Oil & Gas industry requirements are available off-the-shelf, and, where requested, Raccortubi Norsk provides further testing as well as additional services such as in-house cutting and machining, reducing time and costs for its clientele.

Raccortubi Group has been investing heavily in its UK presence of late. Starting with the establishment of its branch office Raccortubi UK just outside London in July last year, it then acquired Norsk Alloys, renowned stockholder of piping components in special materials for offshore platforms, in Aberdeen.

Our Team presence at Tube 2016

Raccortubi Group would like to invite manufacturers, distributors, EPC contractors, end users, governmental representatives and media operators to the Fight Fake Products Approved Manufacturers’ Joint Meeting, Open Table & Press Conference at Tube 2016.

The aim of the Fight Fake Products initiative is to increase awareness and combat the harmful, illegal practice of branding uncertified goods with approved manufacturers’ names.

The approved manufacturers have worked hard to achieve high quality in accordance with stringent standards and provide quality guarantees. Not only do the products that they supply have greater longevity, they are also much safer. The widespread practice of buying cheap, low-quality stock and importing, marking and certifying products with an approved manufacturer’s name is dangerous and damaging to all market players, from manufacturers to end users.

As an approved manufacturer, Raccortubi is asking for support at the Fight Fake Products press conference, which will take place on Wednesday 6th April at 13:00 in Room 7, CCD South (connected to Halls 1 & 3) at Tube 2016.
